The Nassau County Department of Health in New York is warning hundreds of Catholics who received communion during a Christmas Day mass at a Long Island church that they may have been exposed to hepatitis A. According to the report, “Hepatitis A, a liver disease, is contracted by putting something in your mouth that has been contaminated with fecal matter from an infected person.
